Its a commercial event that to a large extent duplicates what we get for a fraction of the price by being members of this fine Club. In effect a "Driving day" but with the proceeds going to the organisers bank account... Fair enough, everyone needs to make a living. If any of our members are attending then perhaps an oppportunity to recruit ?

Their website / FB page reads more like a wish list of what the want to happen on the day, but last I looked the only thing that appeared to be confirmed were snack bars, a barber, and a fairground hall of mirrors.
I have put a post on their FB page asking what, and who were confirmed as attending, but almost a fortnight later and there has been no reply.
Don't get me wrong I think it's great that we are having events / shows North of the wall, but the Scottish Land Rover Show has been a little sparse in content over the past two years and can be well covered in an hour or two, and both days are largely a repeat, and there appears even less at this event.
Is the Slroc attending to do a stand?

No, SLROC have decided not to attend due to other commitments.
Of course, if anyone does go and wishes to tell us how great it was, it would be good to hear.

I didn't attend, but, my brother did. He's been to the two Scottish land Rover shows and says that this is better. I'm guessing that any additional events have to be a good thing though?
