Title: Disco 2 Facelift - Sunroof drain outlet point
Post by: Gorah on November 28, 2019, 11:02:06 AM
Hi there,

I have two questions - one technical, and one "administrative".

The Technical question is that I am looking for the outlet point under the Disco for the front sunroof drains, as I have a damp patch in the forward outer section of the driver side footwell.

I found a photo from a previous forum which seems to show it on a ledge somewhere under the vehicle near the 'A' pillar, but I have searched everywhere and can't find it. If someone has a good idea, and preferably a clear photo showing exactly where it is - close up and standing back, so there is a relative perspective on where it is to the surrounding steelwork/components, that would be great.

That brings me to the "admin" part. I can't figure out how to attach the photo I have, which was from Mogman in 2016, but he is alas nowhere to be found.

Many thanks.

Sorry I can't help with the Sunroof drain point, but someone will be along soon who can.

For the photo;

If you have the photo as a file on your computer then:
Click the arrow beside Attachments and other options (Left beneath the Reply box)
Click on Browse and browse to where the photo is stored on your computer, click on it and it will be attached to your post.

Or if you have the photo on the internet then:
Click on the Insert Image button (Left side of the middle row of buttons and Smilies above the Reply box)
You will then get [img}{/img] (or something very like it) and you post the web address of the internet image in the middle.

My disco 2 had a blocked drain and I cleared it with a length of strimmer flex. Some say use electrical flex but I found that a bit too floppy.  The drain was blocked but not split and the water was overflowing from the sunroof gutter so once it was clear all was well.
There are pictures on the Landyzone web site but there is not much to see.
