A message from Steph, our Island Hopper on our planned celebrations of the clubs 70th anniversary in 2028:

Hello all this is our plan for the 70th anniversary  island hopping whisky barrel from Raasay

£4000 first payment
÷70 = £57.14 each NO VAT TO BE PD ON THIS

We have arranged for this to be bottled on our 70th anniversary 2028

The yr we bottle this whisky we then pay

£1150 to bottle
£3467.38 duty
+20%
=
£5540.98
÷70
=£79.16 (estimated payment) per bottle

If the angels are kind to us we should all receive 3.5 bottle of peated single malt at 63% proof estimated value £60 a bottle

So for £136.30 you should get 3.5 bottles and what a story for the end of our island trip.

Because of covid we can not personal fill the cask but they will send a video and photos of this being filled, we can also see it if we are every in Raasay.

Please make no payment untill I ask, we shall set up an account for this separately.
