:D THIS WK IN THE GARAGE progress is slow because it is very very cold! I have fabricated the back capings and tail gate which allows the hot air out of the radiator  :)

Looking good hunter, I got to see mine since op, both Tyers need inflated where I had punctures and stil to get tubes re fitted yet, tempted to put some slime in just to keep them holding, have axel stands under each side so ther not getting pressed down on the tyer, bar that hopefully soon I will be fit enough to continue repairs and get her back on road missing driving her about. Anyways keep the updates coming.

Well it's been a while but felt up too doing some work on the s3 and manged to get her head off with the use of the two ton engine hoist as it was not fior coming of till then, also after about 6 months or longer I with aid of jump starter pack i started up the s2a after second attempt she fired up and ran soomthish as still to get a full service done on her as needed to move her back and forward to get the hoist out. Felt really good hearing her purr into life  :D anyways the cylinder head look in really good nick upon first inspection , have the head back home in man cave to give it a good clean and inspection of everything in prep to fitting it all back together with new composite head gashget and all new pipes rad etc plus heater matrix to avoid my previous problems of it all going pop on the heating side of things, plus while I remeber its five weeks since my op and so far so good my operation seems to be holding but still very painful and had pain Meds upped again , plus have wheelchair in car for use as walking any more than 10 yards and I looked like I've run a marathon , body still adjusting and healing but hay hoo needs must and I'm still determined to keep going no matter what anyways laters all.

Well got stuck into the cylinder head yesterday and today , oil valve stems where solid and brittle so they have been replaced, all vales checked and cleaned and reseated , head and everywhere else cleaned up just to refit springs and collets to valves and head ready to refit at last.

Hope this link works
