Testing the water.... I'm having a think about what engine to put in a Series 2A ambulance I'm converting to make a camper. I'm looking for something that is a known good runner, happy to consider petrol or diesel. Are there any spare engines out there ?

Hello Gene,
I might have A couple of options if you’re  in no hurry, got that complete but rotten Discovery 200tdi that we are still using for firewood, body is falling off the chassis but it never fails to start.
Alternatively I’ll be taking a 2.5 n/a diesel out of my 84 ninety when I eventually get round to fitting a tdi.

all still in motors so can be seen and tested all good engines
