Hi folks!

I have recently officially joined the SLROC and recieved my club card :D  so I thought I would come on here and say hello.

I have a passion for all types of classic vehicles especially Mk1, Mk2 Escorts and ovcourse Land Rovers, as my dad also owned both over the years and still owns a Land Rover also. He was actually a club member of the SLROC years ago too!

I finally have my very own Land Rover which is my daily runner, shes a Defender td5 which I have recently restored and love driving at every opertunity!

So I look forward to meeting you all and getting the ''craic'' at any upcoming events and meets etc!

Cheers

Craig

Hi Craig,
Welcome to the club! Always good to see new members. The Club is very active and you will find something on every couple of weekends, keep an eye on the upcoming events section of the forum. This weekend there is an RTV (Road Taxed Vehicle Trial), following weekend a Timed Trial (for caged cars) and begining of March is a Green Road Run (for all Land Rovers from Series 1s to Vogues) which would be perfect for you to meet lots of like minded members.
Cheers

Hi Neil,

Thanks for the reply/welcome :D

I have been having a good look around the forum and I am well impressed with the layout and how up to date it all is with events etc.

Yes! I am actually very keen to go to this weekends RTV and spectate :D

The Green road runs also sound ideal! ... I really like the idea of this also as my Defender (daily runner) is freshly painted etc, so would be good if there is no contact with branches n all that lol

However in saying that, myself and my dad have actually been looking into getting a car to join in on various events with which would be great fun!

Thanks again :D
