Hi,
Not technically a SLROC hosted event but posted here aswell to make sure as many people know about this as possible.
We are looking to find out who wishes to go to this event in Cartmell, 11th to 16th July 2018
Cartmel Racecourse, Cartmel, Grange-over-Sands, Cumbria, LA11 6QF

We need to get teams together to compete in the War of the Roses, as well as a good showing at the CCV.
A meeting will be arranged in due course for those interested.

Rtv and ccv is as usual. The "War" is teams of 3 vehicles with 6 people. Pm me your email and i will keep you informed.

ALL members are invited to come forward to join together for a trip to Cartmel. The War of the Roses event is hosted by the very hospitable Red Rose Club. The event has plenty to entertain the family and has some serious and not so serious competitions. RTV & CCV on the Sunday and the War of the Roses on the Saturday. There are tiny competitions for kids mini land rovers too. The Club hopes to enter 2 teams for the War. Teams are made up with 3 vehicles, dont have to be super prepared off roaders, there were fairly standard discos competing last year. 3 drivers plus 3 navigators, so even a chance to join in if you dont have a land rover yet. Post here, pm me or contact the club commitee. 11-15th July main events on 14th & 15th. Once you let me know and pass on email details you will be kept up to date, notes of interest now, dont worry if you cannot fully commit yet.

War of the Roses meeting has been arranged for Friday 13th, 8pm at the Hunters abode in Torwood, near Larbert. All interested in going to Cartmel are invited to come along and discuss the event, teams for war, RTV, CCV etc. Please let us know if you can manage along, even if this date doesnt suit you we can keep you informed, just let me know what event/s you are interested in. Please pass on any comments you have regarding the weekend.
