Brake Master Cylinder Reservoir Identification
« on: April 15, 2018, 05:28:28 PM »
Unfortunately the top of the brake master cylinder reservoir on my trialer has started to perish and needs to be replaced.
I am not certain it is even a Land Rover part as the closest I can find on ebay is a £50 one for a Rover SD1.  Annoyingly, MGB aftermarket ones are only about $10 in the states but won't arrive before next weekends fun.
I intend to try GEMM on Monday after work but in the mean time please could anyone let me know if you think you have a replacement reservoir or have any other advice?  Says it is a Lockheed brand on the top.
Low resolution pictures attached.
Many thanks,
Andrew,
Falkirk.

Thanks to Stuart Anderson - looks like it might be a very early Range Rover classic - part number RTC 3657.  Sold new with master cylinder for about £70 but only need the reservoir!
Will keep looking.
