Tyre suppliers
« on: July 10, 2018, 07:50:16 AM »
Can anybody recommend someone in Glasgow/West Central Scotland for 4x4 tyres? The choice from the usual suspects (Kwik-Fit, ATS, National, and so on) is both poor and expensive.

The lightweight needs new tyres (205/80) and I need to discuss the options with someone who knows what they're talking about rather than someone trying to upsell me a full car check and fluid top up!

Cheers

Not had many dealings with them but Auchenlea tyres at Newhouse  were good with me in the past

Try KJ Tyres. If you tell them what you want, they can get them.

I bought qty 5 Insa Turbos for my 90 from them (Stirling branch) and they were cheaper than anywhere else in the UK !

Eventually bought Fedima Maxima online from Tyres Direct in the right size (6.50x16). Used the local tyre guy (Duntocher Tyres) who swapped them over for £10 per tyre.
