Hi folks Just got the discs changed on my 110, I had been concerned for some time about the reduced brake effort on the vehicle. I looked through the wheels & the discs seemed quite good, all shiny etc, got underneath for a look & found the inner faces were very corroded. The calipers were all in good order so a new set of discs solved the issue, could only see the damage to the discs from the inside/underneath. Worth having a look on a routine basis!
Glad I found it before the MOT, the vehicle is low mileage (65000) so it may just be lack of regular use allowing a build up of corrosion.
