Where can you get rid of old LPG tanks? Took my scrap discovery to an ATF but was told they wouldn't take it if the tanks were still on it as they had no way of disposing of them, seemed to say that you could not dispose of them anywhere! So I now have two sill tanks to get rid of

Advertise them on gumtree as freebies somebody will turn up wanting them just as a idear HTH

Local councils accept portable cylinders at their collection points so you could take them there.

Also, many people have made portable cylinders into other things from traffic bollards to barbecues. See U-tube for details.

Thanks for the suggestions, someone has already offered to take them.
