down the n/s front of the engine. I assume the "P" gasket?
Is this an engine out job?

Easily done insitu. No need to remove engine. Use the better spec metal gasket. Probably worth putting a new waterpump and serpentine belt on whilst you are in there.

Many thanks, I was intending following Chris Higgins' guide
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OKIpJYEe2Ms
but wasn't sure cos he does much of it on a bench.

Got new belt already - cos it's been chirping anyway
Re water pump - Britpart STC1086 (£13) ok for this?
Or should I pay a wee bit more for Bearmach or Dayco? It won't exactly break the bank.

Any gotchas I should look out for when I do this job?
