FS LR Series 2a Project
« on: August 15, 2019, 08:54:52 PM »
Hi I have for sale a Land Rover 1968 S2a SWB, original engine was diesel but Iíve been gathering bits and I wasnít sure what engine to put in it so I also have for sale one of each, the diesel was running up until around 10 months ago before it was removed from previous vehicle and I have a you tube video on this running. Iíve  also picked up a petrol, not entirely sure of its history but it manually turns over but didnít want to mess too much with it in case I did any damage.

The Series also has the original diesel block, head is missing. Transmission is still there, the panels are very straight and original. The only thing Iíve ditched is the door tops as they were well shot. Photos below donít show but I have the original roof, sides & front grill as well.

I have all 3 doors, I also have a tailgate as I planned a canvas back. I have some other parts to go with it, I also have a brand new engine stand which I wonít need.

The V5 is in my name.

Iím struggling to put a price on this as itís not just the Series, but engines and some bits. I will be sad to see it go if Iím being honest but Iíve got to be realistic and do whatís right for the vehicle as I just donít have the time. Iíve had it 2 years and not made a lot of progress at all.

The vehicle is a project and requires a chassis. It will roll onto a trailer no problem.

Reasonable offers will be considered on a job lot or vehicle & engines separately.

Please PM for further details.
