Arran 13th August to 16th
« on: February 25, 2021, 03:14:38 PM »
Good morning Island hoppers
I am just off the phone to the hotel/campsite/lodges this is the plan

The hotel is willing to keep our current dates open  just in case we are all allowed to travel
Come the end of April we know this is looking very unlikely.

New plan

As we speak the hotel is working out dates for a long wkend in August. Where the SLROC club members would have priority bookings ( current bookings would move to this date)
Camping is being sorted also any questions please get intouch

Also only SLROC club members can attend island trips as this is a club event!

Take care x

Hi Charlie sorry had problems signing in, we have thus wk been rearranging this trip sadly because of covid this is being moved to may 2023 where we can have a proper Skye gathering. We are now going to Arran for The Great Arran whisky trial we are staying a Middleton campsite where there is hotels a stone throw from the campsite would be good if you can join us on Arran

Back to campsite for trophies and a wee dram.

In this busy schedule we are hoping to set up trial on Saturday after the green road run would very much like some volunteers.

For those of you not taken part in the tyro/green road run there is lots of thing to do on the island from climbing Goats Fell, crazy golf, cheese shop, chocolate shop, site seeing and much more!!!

Have a safe journey and see you all on Arran for The Great Arran Whisky Trial. Xx
