Hi Folks

Hopefully will be the owner of a Sankey Widetrack by the end of the week however I'd like to change the wheels and tyres. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think current size is 16 x 6.5 however I'm not sure what the equivilant is . Can anyone tell me what the equivialnt would be as I'd like to stick on 7 inch steel rims and tyres. I'm guessing a 205 width would do it . Amy ideas or piccies would be great

205's will look a bit wee. The Army run them on 7.50s so 235s I guess ?

Anyone ever fitted alloys to a sankey ?

Thats a well looked after trailer Dan !  Gene I think 235's sound like a good bet. Ideally the most sensible option would be to run the same size tyres on the trailer and towing vehicle so not to be too concerned  about having a another spare wheel in case of a flat. In my case 35 inch tyres would look just plain silly on a sankey !  My reason for changing the current wheels and tyres ? Purely a preference thing.
